The Asatru is one of several modern incarnations of the traditional Viking beliefs, and It's what I've chosen to believe in.
It is a polytheists religion, meaning we believe in a number of gods and goddesses.
Feel free to ask me questions about this religion here.

What do you call your place of worship. Do you have images of all your gods and goddesses in your place of worship.

If you mean churches, we don't have them.
We can worship the gods practically anywhere, and often for bigger ceremonies, idols or figures of certain gods are involved.

There aren't any.
See, the Vikings were so terrible at writing things down, most of our knowledge about their religion comes from Christian monks who wrote down accounts of their stories in the middle ages. And a modern incarnation of these things is so vague, you can worship the Norse Gods pretty much however you please.
There are a few similarities though, like you have to understand and acknowledge that there are several gods, and you have to worship them somehow, be it either alone or with others. Common themes are courage, hospitality, living in the now. Things like that.

If most of the teachings are so vague, what makes you decide to join them? Most of us Christians are born to Christianity, grew up have some questions and others go and join another Christian church or open their own Christian church but mostly still within the Christian doctrine.

I'm not one for rules, I live my life the way i want to. I don't want to, nor can i conform my life to The Ten Commandments, or the Five Pillars for example. But with the Asatru one has far more freedom in how to live their life.

Freedom to live your life the way you want. I don't know about the five pillars but the ten commandments are not really difficult to follow. They are what most of us unconsciously live our everyday day.

Freedom to live your life the way you want. I don't know about the five pillars Like the commandments, but for Islam. Some of them yes, but there's things like honor the sabbath, honor your parents, no picturing god. I find them too confining in some aspects.

Do you work 7 days a week? You mentioned above that you do have ceremonies. Do you celebrate special dates? Honoring parents are not difficult growing up in our culture. What part of the world are you from?

Do you work 7 days a week? Nope, in between jobs at the moment, looking for something part time until i start basic training in the Navy in September. I personally don't. The Asatru is based heavily on Viking culture and history, and so there isn't a lot to celebrate. We'd be complete assholes if we celebrated the conquest of England, or the sacking of Paris. Denmark, one of the three original Viking countries. our culture is somewhat similar, but i do not honor my parents regardless.

Great country to live in. Largest per capita. College education is even provided free. You guys don't have to worry about student loans.
Home of the Vikings. Norse Paganism as Wikipedia says is prevalent before Christianity came but is just recently recognized again. Most Danes believe that Jesus is the son of God, just like you mentioned before in another thread. Church of Denmark is Lutheran and my church book club is learning about Lutherans next week. The article also mentioned that most of the population are not religious. Is that because of your Viking ancestry?

Pre school, high school, college, university, and a whole lot of other educations are all free here. In fact the government pays you while you study.
No It's because we don't care. The vast majority of all Danes are members of the Church since you're automatically signed in when you're born in Denmark. It's a tradition mostly, not a lot of Danes actually practice any religion. The Asatru society only has around 8-900 members.

Now I wonder if being religious goes hand in hand with the economic situation.
See you mentioned Danes just don't care about being religious. Yet you are one of the worlds richest country.
I grew up from a 3rd world country and most are deeply religious.
