Believing in the presence of God is not difficult for me. But with all the churches popping up everywhere. I am starting to question churches and religion. Please let us know your point of view regarding God and the churches.

As I understand it almost all religion are dividing. New beliefs/churches coming from the main branches and everybody saying, we are right and they are wrong. That to me raises questions as to everyone's validity.

Logically speaking, the only "valid" versions of any religion would be the earliest, least corrupted versions.
For Christianity that would be the kind where shaving and eating crab and lobsters were forbidden.
Naturally though, like all things, religion can evolve and so claiming which version is most valid is nigh impossible, and in the end, it all comes down to the believer.
There is no "valid" or "invalid" version anymore as far as I'm concerned, It's up to the individual to decide whats right, and whats wrong.

The book "The Reason for God" and "Christianity's Family Tree" should to shed some light to my questions. Others told me to just accept what is being taught and just trust in God.

In my opinion, you should never just settle with that kind of answer, 'cause it really isn't an answer.
Look for the truth yourself, then you can decide what the real answer is.
