This chapter is a non-issue for me. When bad things happen we naturally question Why? But growing up in the Philippines, you always hear the sayings "God have reasons for everything", "all these trials/pains, etc. are to help you grow stronger", "it is all in the design God made for our life" and others.
Personally, I will definitely have a different course in life and may not even come to North America, if even a second of a bad event in my past did not happen. Everything in my past leads me to this life and I will not trade this for anything else.
How about you? Have you blame God for anything? Question his motives and reasons for things that happened in your life?

Shit happens, and I've never been one for blaming God. In my cases, when shit happened, God didn't exactly fix it. After a while believing that everything is Gods will gets tiresome, because it's only half the answer.
Everyone has gone through hardship, and everyone deals with it differently. If you want to believe God causes pain, only to relieve it you go ahead and believe that. But when i go through hard times I don't blame God, 'cause he isn't fixing anything for me. And when i come out on the other side for the better, I want to believe i made that happen, not a sadistic asshole i can never meet.

So although you don't blame God for the bad things. When you come out on the other side for the better, you pat yourself only. You don't thank God for things that turn out right?

Why should i? By that logic it was his fault things go bad in the first place, I don't want to thank a guy like that for putting me through unnecessary hardship. I'll thank myself for making it through them.

We were always told that the reason behind the hardship usually is you come out stronger and better, without it, you don't improve.
